**Two-factor authentication** asks for a six-digit code at every sign-in, so your account survives even a stolen password. **1.** Settings → Profile → 2FA → turn it on. **2. Choose a method.** - **TOTP** (recommended) — Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy. - **SMS** — a fallback; weak against SIM-swap attacks. **3. QR code.** Scan it with your authenticator app. **4. Verify.** Type in the six-digit code from the app. **5. Recovery codes.** Download the ten codes and keep them somewhere safe (wallet, password manager). **6. Done.** Your next sign-in will ask for 2FA. ⚠️ If you lose your recovery codes, contact support — you will have to prove your identity.
